Effective Application of Accounting Standards with Xero
This course will equip learners with the knowledge. You will learn the skills to effectively apply the requirements of relevant financial reporting framework. To achieve the objectives of financial reporting in their maintenance and updating of company accounting records on a cloud-based accounting software like Xero.
This will help them better contribute to their organisations’ financial accountability, accurate annual reporting to ACRA, accurate tax filing with IRAS, and data-backed business planning and decision making. While also getting up-to-date with using updated and newer accounting systems.

At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
Explain the key tenets of Singapore’s regulatory framework for financial reporting to all organisation types
Apply understanding of the Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) in setting up and operationalising a cloud-based accounting system for their organisation
Apply understanding of the FRS to correctly and accurately input and record all transactions made by their organisation
Generate and review various reports to check for any significant accounting issues and ensure compliance to regulatory requirements
Utilise various avenues to keep up-to-date with changes in prevailing accounting standards
